Join us for a three-week block of supportive Menopause Yoga sessions designed to nourish and empower women navigating perimenopause, menopause, and beyond. Each 90-minute class offers a calm and restorative space to gently move, breathe, and reflect — with time set aside for open conversation and connection, should you feel comfortable sharing.
Over the course of the three sessions, you’ll explore:
✨ Gentle, specially adapted yoga sequences to ease physical symptoms
✨ Breath techniques to calm the nervous system and support hormone balance
✨ Guided meditations for emotional wellbeing
✨ A safe, understanding space to feel seen, supported, and heard
These sessions are led by the compassionate Jess Sewell, whose yoga journey began over 25 years ago during her nurse training. As a mother, long-time yoga teacher, and graduate of the renowned Menopause Yoga training with Petra Coveney, Jess brings both personal understanding and professional experience. Her teaching centers on using breath and movement to release tension and reconnect with a sense of calm and freedom.

About the Empower Her Project:
This three-class block is part of the Empower Her Project — a community-based initiative working to make holistic women’s health support accessible for all, from puberty through to menopause.
We’re here to fill the gaps left by mainstream care, offering free and highly subsidised yoga, workshops, therapies, and education for women and girls in Shropshire. We’re building a supportive network rooted in connection, community, and wellbeing — with a focus on empowering women at every life stage.
💜 These Menopause Yoga sessions are free to attend, thanks to generous support from the Empower Her Project. Donations are welcomed on the day from those able to contribute, helping us to keep creating these much-needed spaces.

Visible Mending Cafe with Anthea Renshaw
Every other Saturday. Next session is on Saturday 14 June | 10 - 12pm | £9
Visible mending takes traditional techniques such as patching, darning and sashiko to repair clothing in an intentionally visible and creative way. With these techniques we can have another way to express ourselves creatively. The ability to express ourselves gives us agency. With agency we can feel in control to make positive choices.
Come and join our growing community of Visible Menders, stitching new life into loved clothes. With sustainability at its core, this group focusses on slowing down, working together, and using creativity as a means of change for the better.
All materials can be provided. Beginners and experienced stitchers welcome. Price includes tea and cake.

Led by experienced Senior Yoga Teacher and Trainer Kelsey Taylor, you will be guided through practices that celebrate your uniqueness and support your journey into womanhood.
Kelsey is passionate about women’s wellness and supports females from puberty to post-menopause as they navigate the seasons of their menstrual cycle and life.

Intuitive Art Circle with Kirsty Worrow

In the gentle embrace of yoga studio space, we invite you to explore your creative essence through this intuitive art gathering. Guided by Kirsty Worrow of One Crow Left, this circle is an invitation to explore the liminal spaces where art and spirit meet. As a shamanic initiate and oracle with over 25 years of experience in visual communication, Kirsty creates from a place of deep connection with gods and goddesses, guides and guardians.
Each circle begins with grounding and intention setting, followed by a transformative drum journey to channel your creativity. In this nurturing space, you'll be free to express yourself through any artistic medium that calls to your spirit. No artistic experience is needed - only an open heart and willingness to listen to your creative intuition.
Pregnancy Yoga with Hattie Thorpe Gunner

Join Hattie Thorpe-Gunner for two weeks of pregnancy yoga classes. You'll be guided through a gentle and nourishing yoga practice to help you connect with your body and your growing baby. You'll learn postures and breathing techniques which will support you through pregnancy and birth and help in easing the aches and pains sometimes experienced by mums-to-be.
*Pregnancy yoga is suitable from 12 weeks, and you can safely practice until your baby arrives. The class is suitable for beginners.

Children’s Yoga with Dionne Wells
4-week block started Tuesday 24 June | 4:30-5:30pm | 5-8 year olds | £9 for a single booking or £32 for the 4-week block
Weekly Yoga classes for 5-8 year old’s. Little ones can expect a fun-filled hour of Yoga, movement, music and mindfulness. Dionne is a Primary School Teacher and qualified Children’s Yoga instructor with many years of experience working with young children.
Gong Bath and Sacred Sound Journey with Tom Stacey
Saturday 28 June + 12 July | 6 - 7:15pm | £20
Gong Baths are a form of inactive meditation, where you "bathe" in the vibrations of the sound. The sound and vibration of the gongs works as a tool to balance the physical body, mind, emotions and energetic body. Known as the sound of total resonance, the sound of the gong gives the body a sonic massage helping to stimulate circulation, activate the parasympathetic nervous system and encourage a meditative state.
Tom will use symphonic and wind gongs plus Himalayan singing bowls to create a transformational space for deep release.
Bring a blanket to stay warm and cosy and a yoga mat or other comfortable mat to lie down on.
Create A Living Wreath with a workshop with Alison Wood

Join us for a relaxing and creative afternoon, connecting with nature and crafting your very own living wreath! Using sustainable materials, seasonal flowers, and foliage, this eco-friendly workshop is the perfect way to embrace the beauty of nature while making something uniquely yours.

Empower Her Presents: A Workshop For Women Living With Pain Guided by Natalie Jackson

A practical and supportive session for women living with chronic or cyclical pain.
This 2.5-hour workshop is designed for women experiencing pain related to PMS, endometriosis, menopause, PCOS, musculoskeletal conditions, or persistent pain of any kind - diagnosed or not.
Facilitated by Natalie Jackson, The Longevity Coach, this session introduces her Mind, Menu & Move approach to living The Long & Good Life™, in a way that works with your body, not against it.
The workshop offers a safe and inclusive space to explore what helps you feel more in control of your health and more connected to yourself and others.
What to Expect:
Learn sustainable pain management approaches to support your body
Explore holistic ways to nourish and care for yourself when living with pain
Share and connect with others who understand your experience
Leave with practical tools and gentle insights to take into daily life
This is a non-clinical, coaching-led workshop aimed at helping women build resilience, confidence, and realistic strategies to navigate life well with pain. It’s about finding what helps and knowing you’re not alone.
Who Can Attend?
This session is open to all women living with pain, regardless of diagnosis. Whether you’re newly experiencing symptoms, have lived with them for years, or are simply looking for new ways to manage your wellbeing, you are warmly welcome.
There is no expectation to share, and you are invited to participate in a way that feels comfortable for you.
Please note: A diagnosis is not required to attend. If you live with pain in any capacity, you are welcome to join.

Led by qualified acupuncturist Julia Ugrinic from Green Rose Acupuncture, this gentle session is part of the Empower Her Project, a community-led initiative offering free and low-cost holistic support to girls and women throughout Shropshire.

You’ll be invited to lie down on a yoga mat in a calm, welcoming space. Acupuncture needles are gently placed in the lower arms and legs — no undressing required — and you can rest with an eye mask while the treatment supports your body’s natural balance. Many leave feeling calm, grounded, and deeply connected to themselves.
✨ Why acupuncture for women’s health?
Acupuncture can support hormone regulation, menstrual health, fertility, PMS, perimenopause, menopause, emotional wellbeing, and more. Whether you’re managing stress, irregular cycles, or simply seeking space to pause and reconnect, this session offers a powerful first step.

Create and Connect A Mixed Media Art Workshop with Delny Fitrzyk

Connect to the vibrancy and energy of the warmer months with a Summer inspired mixed media art workshop.
Delve into creativity inspired by the beauty of Summer. Discover how to connect with the moment and relax through art, even if you're unsure where to start. Instead of focusing on technical perfection, our session emphasizes playful exploration of textures, forms, and colours found in shells, pebbles, driftwood, coral, sea life, summer flowers and a lot more
Under the guidance of Shropshire-based textile artist and art teacher Delny Fitrzyk, you will experiment with materials like ink and bleach, wax and ink, charcoal, graphite, fine liners, collage, and mono-printing, creating your own unique summer inspired artwork at your own pace.
All materials are provided, so just bring your willingness to explore. However, if you do have a collection of objects – shells from a special holiday or pebbles from a treasured beach trip etc – please feel free to bring them along.
No prior experience or artistic ability needed.
