September: The Golden Threshold
Seasonal Focus: Shedding away. Letting go. Rebalancing and preparing for change.
Theme: September is the bridge, the golden threshold between summer's outward fire and autumn's quiet descent. It’s a time of rebalancing and refining, where we gather the harvest of our efforts and gently begin to release what no longer serves.
Mythic Inspiration: We journey with Demeter and Persephone, the ancient Greek archetypes of motherhood, loss, and rebirth. As Persephone descends into the underworld, Demeter grieves, and the world shifts. This myth mirrors our own seasonal transition, the dance between holding on and letting go, between light and dark, above and below.
Alchemy in Practice: We take a deep dive into the Mighty Psoas, our amazing deep muscles that truly represent the art of hugging in and letting go. Enjoy a grounding yet expansive bio-optimised flow to awaken core strength, moving mythology playful sequences to embody the story of descent and return; yin postures to support deep release; and a guided Yoga Nidra with sound bath to honour seasonal change and inner integration.
