Guy is the founder of Hands On Percussion and has over 20 years' experience using drums and percussion to support children's wellbeing, creativity and confidence. He has delivered engaging workshops in nurseries, schools, community groups and therapeutic settings, helping children connect, express themselves and experience the joy of making music together.
Drawing on his training in Polyvagal Theory, the Safe and Sound Protocol and Sound Therapy, Guy creates inclusive, hands-on drumming experiences that promote wellbeing, belonging and fun. He believes that rhythm is a powerful tool for helping children learn, connect and thrive.

Late Summer Group Acupuncture Experience with Julia Ugrinic

Late Summer asks us to slow down and receive. To recognise that nourishment comes not only from what we eat, but from rest, connection, kindness, and a sense of belonging. Join us for relaxation, grounding, and Five Element Acupuncture as we explore the gifts of the Earth element and reconnect with our centre.
This gentle group session may help to calm a busy mind, ease stress and overwhelm, promote a sense of balance, and support you in feeling more grounded, nourished, and connected to yourself.
The acupuncture will take place in a group setting within the yoga studio. You will be lying on the floor, supported by bolsters, cushions, and blankets for comfort. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing, no undressing is required. All needles will be placed in the lower arms, hands, lower legs, and feet.
Please note: This session is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant. Suitable for ages 12 and over. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also participating.

Somatic yoga is a mindful practice that invites you to focus on how movement feels rather than how it looks. By bringing awareness to your body’s sensations and nervous system, you’ll be encouraged to move with curiosity, ease, and compassion.
This one-hour session is an opportunity to meet yourself exactly as you are.
Instead of striving for perfect shapes, you’ll be offered gentle invitations to explore movement in a way that feels right for your body. There will be space for free movement, stillness, and rest; take what you need and leave the rest.

This will be followed by yoga nidra, a deeply restorative guided relaxation that invites you to rest, reset and nourish your whole being.

Yin is a slower paced style of yoga where postures are held for longer periods of time.. It is a passive practice that involves variations of seated and supine poses accessing deeper layers of fascia (connective tissue) and encouraging a deeply relaxed and meditative state.

Monthly Gong Bath and Sacred Sound Journey with Tom Stacey

Gong Baths are a form of inactive meditation, where you "bathe" in the vibrations of the sound. The sound and vibration of the gongs works as a tool to balance the physical body, mind, emotions and energetic body. Known as the sound of total resonance, the sound of the gong gives the body a sonic massage helping to stimulate circulation, activate the parasympathetic nervous system and encourage a meditative state.
Tom will use symphonic and wind gongs plus Himalayan singing bowls to create a transformational space for deep release.

Join Guy for a welcoming family workshop designed to soothe the nervous system, focus on the mind and bring people together through rhythm. No experience is needed, and complete beginners are warmly welcomed (even those convinced they have no rhythm!).
Using simple frame drums and beaters, we’ll explore beautiful rhythms inspired by traditions from Senegal and Ghana, alongside guided drumming, musical meditation and moments of creativity. All drums are provided and chosen for their gentle yet powerful sound.
Drumming together is about more than making music, it can encourage connection, support wellbeing, improve focus and create space for expression, creativity and fun.
Suitable for children aged 7+ with one adult per child staying to support and join in.
Guy is the founder of Hands On Percussion and a qualified Sound Therapy Practitioner with over 20 years of experience supporting children, families and communities through rhythm and sound. Drawing on both ancient practices and modern research, his sessions create an inclusive and accessible space to connect and explore.
This is not a performance-based workshop, just an opportunity to experience the joy of rhythm together as a family.

Exciting partnership-Jenna Blair Yoga and Arvon have launched a book club to celebrate the year of reading in 2026.
Have you ever fancied joining a book club but not yet found the opportunity? Do you enjoy reading and long to discuss what you have read with others? Would you like a reason to read more? Would you simply like to join a group of like-minded folk every couple of months in a warm, inclusive and playful space? Then look no further. The next book club meeting will take place at the Jenna Blair Yoga Wellbeing Centre Studio on Wednesday 23 September from 3:30-5:00pm. We are charging £5 per session by booking in advance. If you would like to read a book in advance we are offering “The Correspondent” by Virginia Evans. There is no need to have read this book to join a session which will continue to be the case for subsequent sessions.
The book club will be facilitated by Natasha Carlish, Deputy CEO for Arvon, the UK's leading creative writing charity. Natasha has over a decade of hosting author readings, programming creative writing courses and is herself a passionate reader of all genres of writing.

In this playful mixed-media workshop, children will explore imaginative drawing, collage and painting techniques inspired by Picasso’s wonderfully unconventional portraits. Using tissue paper, paint, paint pens and a variety of drawing materials, they’ll experiment with layers, texture and expressive mark-making to create their very own Fantastic Face on canvas to take home.

Take a deep, supportive journey into the fundamentals of healthy backbending in this intelligent movement workshop. Designed to help you understand how to practice backbends safely and effectively, this session blends mobility, strength, and mindful alignment.
You’ll explore key principles of backbending and apply them to postures such as cobra, locust, and bridge, alongside supportive shapes like low lunge with quad stretch and simple chest openers. Tropical Tranquility – A Painting Workshop with Lucy Caddel

Join Lucy for a relaxing afternoon of painting at Jenna Blair Yoga Wellbeing Centre, Belle Vue, Shrewsbury.
Working from observation, you’ll create a vibrant study of exotic Asian florals while learning how to layer gouache and acrylic paints to bring depth, texture and beautiful three-dimensional form to your artwork. Guided by Lucy’s expert tuition, this workshop is suitable for all abilities, from complete beginners to more experienced artists.
All materials and light refreshments are provided, so simply come along and enjoy a creative afternoon.
