Inspired Yoga Teacher Circle with Anya Hawkes ~ Online Masterclass

Monday 15 December | 5.15–6.30pm | Free | ZOOM
Theme: The Art of Letting Go - Intelligent Surrender for Yoga Teachers

This December session invites you into the powerful and timely practice of letting go. Not as giving up, but as intelligent surrender. A beautiful theme following on from our Sustainable Yoga Teaching Circle.

The kind that restores clarity, steadies the nervous system, and softens the places where we may be holding too tightly in our teaching and our lives.

This session will be beautifully balanced between insight and embodiment:

Part One: Theory & Guided Discussion

  • What 'letting go' really means in a modern teaching context

  • The difference between healthy surrender and burnout

  • Where teachers often grip & over-effort

  • How intelligent surrender supports longevity, creativity, and grounded leadership

Part Two: Restorative Practice & Mini Yoga Nidra

We will then move into a deeply nourishing restorative yoga practice, followed by a short Yoga Nidra for release and renewal. This is an opportunity to embody what we have explored through the body, breath, and nervous system, allowing yourself to truly land and reset at this busy time of year.

You are welcome to join live on Zoom or catch up later via the replay.

Meet Anya Hawkes ...

Yin and Myofascial Release Workshop with Anya Hawkes

Friday 16 January | 6:30-9:00pm | £25

A Yin & Myofascial Release Journey for Body, Mind & Soul

Beneath the surface of the muscles lies a living webbing, our fascia. An incredible matrix of connective tissue which holds stories, emotions, and tension patterns we often don’t even realise we’re carrying.

In this deeply restorative and intelligently guided workshop, we’ll explore the myofascial meridians - the pathways that link every part of the body through this connective tissue network. Through slow myofascial release techniques and long-held yin postures, you’ll learn how to approach the fascia with awareness and precision, allowing the body to unwind, reorganise, and return to its natural ease.

This is a practice of soft liberation. Using self myofascial release, gentle pressure, stillness, and mindful movement we melt the physical and emotional layers that weigh us down.

You’ll leave feeling lighter, freer, and more connected  from the inside out.

I would highly recommend the course, it was just fantastic. The whole day was just so relaxed, well planned, great opportunities to have a go at massage. Jenny knows her stuff and it was well presented. She is absolutely lovely and very helpful with providing any further information thats needed. A great weekend. - Mandy, The Wirral

Underpinning it all is a holistic, intuitive approach to massage that includes the whole person and meets the other as they are on that day. It’s not about learning a routine, but about having tools in your kit that you can use to give an individual massage.

The course is highly practical and you’ll get plenty of chance to give and receive massage.

She says: "I love to share with others what I’ve learnt about how to help support people to let go of built up stress and tension, in a way that is kind on their body too. Finding ways to massage that can be sustained over a career is all important, so you can maintain that love and passion for what you do."
